Join Houston Ebony Opera Guild for “We’ve Come This Far by Faith,” and RSVP for FREE for a powerful and inspiring Juneteenth celebration concert honoring faith, freedom, resilience, and the enduring legacy of African American artistry through music.

Held in the historic sanctuary of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in the heart of Houston’s Third Ward, this special community event will feature internationally acclaimed soprano Nicole Heaston alongside distinguished guest artists and musicians in an unforgettable afternoon of spirituals, sacred music, classical selections, and inspirational works rooted in the Black musical tradition.

This concert celebrates the spirit of Juneteenth through music that uplifts, inspires, and reflects the strength and cultural contributions of generations past and present. Audiences of all ages are invited to experience an afternoon of reflection, joy, community, and artistic excellence in one of Houston’s most respected African American institutions.
